Wally’s has officially opened its newest travel center in Whitestown, Indiana, and we stopped by to see if it lives up to the growing excitement. Conveniently located just off Interstate 65 on the northwest side of Indianapolis, this massive new location makes an immediate impression with its modern design, spacious layout, and wide selection of food and convenience items built for high-volume travelers.

Inside, you’ll find many of the signature offerings that have helped Wally’s build a loyal following, including freshly popped flavored popcorn, a large variety of premium jerky, homemade fudge, bakery items, and an extensive selection of drinks and snacks. The store is bright, clean, and designed to turn a quick stop into a destination experience rather than a typical fuel stop. One area where Wally’s stands out is its snack selection. While comparisons to Buc-ee’s are inevitable, Wally’s offers a broader variety of grab-and-go treats, including multiple ice cream options, freshly made flavored popcorn, and other specialty snacks that give travelers more variety and flexibility.

This location also benefits from a strategic position along I-65, capturing steady commuter and long-distance traffic traveling between Indianapolis and Chicago—America’s third-largest city. That constant flow of north–south traffic gives this store a strong built-in customer base, making it not just a convenience stop, but a key travel hub for one of the Midwest’s busiest interstate corridors. For anyone passing through central Indiana, the new Whitestown Wally’s is well worth a stop and further strengthens its reputation as one of the region’s standout travel centers.
